This month's theme is going to be THREE parts, rather than two. You will receive two pre-recorded workshops, then a live roundtable and Q&A session to help you fully customize a plan to move forward. You should absolutely watch Part One before Part Two, so that you have a firm understanding of why we should abolish grade levels and teach to mastery. Then, in Part Two, learn what mastery is and how you can teach mastery with or without any formal curriculum, for any child. This method WORKS if you have a child who is behind in ANY subject, even if they have diagnosed learning challenges. This method also blends perfectly with out-of-the box teaching styles. Part One - Why Ditch Grade Levels?
Everyone should understand the exceptional leverage in restructuring the grade levels - particularly for children who are "behind", or struggling. As the original author and pioneer of the Skipping Middle School movement, I promise this is NOT about rushing kids through or leaving out anything important. It is about gaining LEVERAGE to help your child break down barriers and succeed.
In this workshop, learn why we have grade levels and how you can leverage this knowledge to change education and make it the better. While this philosophy certainly helps advanced children, I actually created it to help children who are considered "behind", or struggling. Whether the struggle is cognitive or otherwise, these concepts will help.
This is extremely important information if you have a child from about 4th grade thru 9th grade level and you want to prepare them for higher learning, and you feel lost or hopeless. Through this workshop you will understand how mastery was replaced with grade levels, why public schools keep you in the dark on the real advantages you have, see thru the mirage in education, and how you can reverse it back for quick, effective results. A total game changer!

Part Two - "Teaching Mastery Intro"
Mastery eliminates grade level comparison and allows you to customize your child's education. Whether your child is considered "behind" or "ahead", mastery is extremely beneficial. Special needs children flourish when you ditch grade levels and switch to a mastery approach.
We demonstrate a mastery approach to the two most challenging subjects - math and language arts - to empower you to take control, rather than letting curriculum control you.
The companion workshop to Ditch Grade Levels, the Teaching Mastery intro workshop below is taking education to a whole new paradigm. When combining the principles of mastery to my specific strategies, this becomes highly leverageable for any child, anywhere in the world, no matter their abilities.

How the Monthly Theme Works:
Each month in 2023 is a different theme, with video training to coordinate the theme. We also feature a guest speaker who has experience in that area of teaching mastery. The guest speaker joins us LIVE and ONLINE in a Zoom meeting, which is highly interactive and gives you the opportunity to ask questions and engage. Anyone can attend the live session without membership, just register HERE. After the live session, the replay is placed on the theme page. Replays are for members only (choose the Free, Lite, or Premium membership). Access to themed content is valid thru the end of the theme's month for Free and Lite members (Premium members have unlimited access).
